Managing Fibroids Symptoms Naturally

Author: Bernadette Hopkins

Depending on the size and location of your fibroids, you may well have a number of unpleasant symptoms. Doctors very often seem unhelpful when it comes to dealing with this condition because fibroids are rarely dangerous and some women believe that they get less attention than other life threatening conditions.

There are a number of ways of managing fibroids symptoms naturally, in ways which are non-invasive and which may even help with shrinkage.

Fibroids Symptoms

Heavy Menstrual Blood Flow

Vitamins A, C and E together with Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 and Iron can all help, with Vitamin E being particularly good at combating period pain. Ibuprofen can be used to help with heavy bleeding as it reduces inflammation.

Cramping and Pain

Try lying and resting with a pillow under the knees and apply heat therapy. Also, lying on your side with your knees pulled up to your chest can help. Exercise is also known to be therapeutic and is an easy way of managing fibroids symptoms naturally, helping across the board.

Stop Fibroids

Frequent Urination

This is a common problem and is usually caused by a large fibroid pressing on the bladder. Managing the situation is not always easy, but try urinating before leaving the house and wear pads if necessary. Never hold urine in and examine natural ways to shrink fibroids as this will help relieve the pressure.

Constipation and Hemorrhoids

Commonly caused by the fibroids pressing on the bowel. Simple dietary changes can quickly help. Drink at least 2 liters of water daily and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Bulky whole grains and bran will also help with the elimination of waste products.

The lack of comprehensive "real" help for women led an alternative practitioner to develop a complete system for managing fibroids symptoms naturally which mirrored what she taught women in her busy clinic. Her unique, 7 Step Plan has been successfully used by many thousands of women worldwide and for those who are willing to take charge of their own treatment and recognize that they will have to play an active role in their own healing, then this is simply ideal. What kind of problem can occur if you have enlarged spleen?
I had a abdominal ultrasound test couple of days back. The report said that Igot a bulky uterus with fibroid, a cyst in left ovary and a enlarged spleen. I think I’ve to have aoperation for my fibroid problem. But I know nothing about the spleen problem. my question is how this problem occurs and what should I do to solve this problem.

There are a number of conditions that can cause the spleen to enlarge so not sure just what is causing yours. The biggest worry with an enlarged spleen is that it becomes vulnerable to rupture should you receive any kind of trauma to the abdomen. You should not play any kind of contact sports or engage in any activities that could result in a blow to the stomach. Ruptured spleens are common in car wrecks and a person can bleed to death from a ruptured spleen fairly quickly. Find out just what is causing your problem and follow your doctors orders to the letter.

there is no pregnancy or fibroid. There is high epithelil cells in the urine all the time that shows up.I am a female of almost 39 and harly get periods anymore as they are so irregular. I have been known in the past to get spotting inbetween my periods., and have a lower back pain that is not going away.my stomach now looks like I am a bit pregnant. My bulky uterus which means bigger than normal showed up on the CT IPV scan 2 weeks ago. My last period was december last year. so besides pregnancy, fibroids and endromesis(how ever you spell it) which none I have nor do I have any infections. I have an offensive odour most of the time . so besides the above can a buly uterus an abnormal size one can that be cancerous. I go back to the hospital again soon. Please help.

I’m just a second year nursing student…and your signs and symptoms sound more like post-pregnancy to me. Usually a preterm labor, a very large baby, a very small pelvic size or a precipitare labor that resulted to a tear in your uterine muscles could cause it’s predisposition to an uncontracted state, in which bleeding could possibly occur, resulting to a bulky uterus. In short, once in an uncontracted state, your uterus becomes bulky and is at risk for bleeding. Maybe the foul smelling discharge is a result of bleeding. Have you ever been pregnant?Or ever had an abortion(No offense) Because if you were ever pregnant, it could be very possible that your hormones of pregnancy stayed at pregnant levels even if you werent preggy anymore. Either way, you should seek an obstetrician’s help. God bless you.

      Oh! yes its normal.
Only thing that, get all your tests done to avoid any trouble later.
It may be menopause, and hence you feel bulky.
But anyways my dear,”Precaution is better than cure”.
